About Me

I'm Goodness Ojonuba, a Cloud and DevOps Engineer open to collaborations across cloud and DevOps projects. My journey into tech started with IT Support, which gave me a deep appreciation for reliable systems and user-centric infrastructure. That perspective still shapes how I design systems: practical, observable, and built to recover cleanly when something goes wrong.

My Journey

Transitioning from IT Support to Cloud Engineering was a natural evolution. Supporting end-users taught me to think beyond servers and dashboards, because every outage, slow deployment, or fragile process eventually affects people. I became drawn to the engineering side of reliability: automating repeatable work, turning manual runbooks into pipelines, and designing infrastructure that teams can trust.

What I Do

  • Infrastructure as Code: Build and manage multi-cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and cloud-native tooling.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Automate build, test, and deployment workflows with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
  • Container Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS.
  • Agentic DevOps: Experiment with AI-powered workflows using Claude Code for infrastructure auditing and automation.

Beyond Work

When I'm not automating infrastructure, you'll find me writing technical articles on Hashnode, Dev.to, and Medium, experimenting with new tools, or contributing to open-source projects. I believe in sharing knowledge and helping others grow in their cloud and DevOps journeys.
